Humble Beginnings
Hi, my name is Chef Joe, or you can call me Big Tasty. I would like to tell you about how I perfected the fried chicken sandwich. It’s simple really. I had an epiphany, a “eureka” moment. Like most things it occurred to me in the middle of the night, at 3:00am. It took half an hour and I concocted the perfect and ingredients for the perfect chicken sandwich. After 9 months of planning, obtaining equipment and establishing marketing materials; Firebird Chicken Sandwiches was born!
Sandwich Success
The Firebird and Phoenix were a hit from the very beginning. I showcased it at the café I owned at the time, which ultimately lead to the Firebird food truck and brand. Be sure to check out our menu and new brick and mortar restaurant located in beautiful Downtown Colorado Springs.
